Discover the history of the large glass wall and its revival
About fifteen years ago, the visitors of the museum could admire the large glass wall and the 32 stuffed animals behind it. In 2002, considerable water damage deteriorated the scenery and the stuffed animals. As it could not be taken care of, the large glass wall was hidden from the visitors. The works necessary for the upkeep of the scenery and the stuffed animals have finally begun in 2015, thanks to numerous donations and funding from the City of Lille and the Regional Directories for Cultural Affairs.
Visitors can admire it again since December 11, 2015.
