What if the wolf was neither mean nor nice? What if the wolf was just a wolf, just an animal doing what it has to do to survive?
Whether sentimental, wearing briefs or even vegetarian, the wolf from the children’s literature is nowadays often friendly and kind. For all that, the fear of the fierce children-eating wolf persists in the children’s imagination. That fear is maintained notably via the passing on of ancient tales.
The exhibition proposes to compare two worlds: the imaginary world, where the wolf is a character (who can be either mean or nice) and the world of nature, where the wolf is an animal (neither mean nor nice).
The exhibition leads the visitors to wonder about the transition from one to the other and the concepts of niceness and meanness applied to animals.
The exhibition is for children from three to seven years old.
